It is such a joy to know that APU has initiated this project and is contributing to education in world religions and to building bridges of peace for the prosperity of humankind. I send my cheers of support from Shanghai!

As a new Muslim, I am eager to experience the learning this website will hopefully provide. Thank you very much for blessing me with such an opportunity.

thank you for putting this program together.
may we find peace through understanding and compassion for one another.

Thank you for spearheading this project for dialogue and understanding. We live in a time when "polarizers" of both Christianity and Islam try to martial increasing force at the expense of the peacemakers working in the middle. Your project is an active countermeasure to those forces.

My prayers have been answered, that here in Anchorage we have somthing like this... keep the dialog going, what else can we do?

My cousin married a practicing Muslim. Hakan is one fo the finest men I've ever met, of any denomination. He taught at a catholic university beck east (I'll not mention the name here) and was basically driven from the job due to his religion. When I heard the story of his interactions with our catholic brethren there, and the message they left him with following, I was greatly embarrassed. My family has been doing "damage control" ever since. I thank God Hakan is a reasonable and understanding, (and forgiving) man. I wish some members of the church at this particular university had been involved with a program such as this. I shudder to think of the impression we may be making in who knows how many communities across America on these by and large peaceful and kind people. I love my Catholic faith, and my American heritage, but I pray the dark side of it never sneaks up on me and takes control making me so arrogant as to beleive I have all the answers, and that our God is telling me to be cruel to someone merely for the fact that they are Muslim. Thank you for performing this service for us here.

Great project concept! I can hardly think of an idea that could be more timely or important than trying to overcome the confusion about Islam that currently plagues American politics. As a political scientist with a particular interest in the future of U.S. relations with Moslem societies, I would be proud to have the opportunity to contribute to this program and wish you every success.

I appreciate those who have put this program together. Many Americans have little knowledge of Islam and considering the current world situation we need to know how to constructively engage Muslims. Thank you for opening this dialogue.

Congratulations on starting this project, so important for our understanding the world. Having taught in Beirut 1956-59 and earned a Ph.D. in European history I have tried, though not an expert, to do my part by giving sermons/lectures on "The Spiritual Vitality of Islam", "How to Relate to Islam and Muslims", "Sunnis and Shiites", and would be glad to consider giving these to local organizations. I look forward to hearing Dr. Aseel.

It's great to see this initiative take place at APU. My prayers go with the effort, and my hope for a brighter future is all the more reinforced.

I am married to a non-practicing Muslim from eastern Russia, who has currently lost all his paperwork to return to the US, and is too frightened to come anyway. Two of his three children are here, without paper work. I need to know more about the religion.

I work with high school exchange students from a variety of Muslim backgrounds. For 2007-08 I will have students from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. We would like to be involved in your project.
